Docs Agents
AI assistant
Ask about the page you're on, or have it do things: it asks before it changes anything.
The AI assistant is always at hand: ask it about the page you're on, find anything in the Space, or have it do things for you. Before it changes anything, it asks.
Opening it
Press the round button in the bottom-right corner, or ⌘J (Ctrl+J). It opens as a drawer over the page and stays open as you move from page to page. Esc closes it.
Drag its left edge to make it wider or narrower; it remembers the width. Double-click the edge to bring it back.
It knows where you are
The assistant sees the page you asked on, a Mission, a task or anything else, so "what's late here?" just works. It can find anything in the Space, and links in its answers open in place.
Nothing changes without you
When the assistant wants to create a task, change one, comment or take a task, it first shows what it will do as a card with Confirm and Decline. Nothing changes until you confirm.
Chats
Every conversation is a chat. The chat's title at the top opens the list of chats, a panel from the left: make folders, rename and fold them, and drag chats into them; the rest are grouped by day. New chat beside the title starts a fresh one.
Asking an agent
Type @ in the input to see the Space's agents. Name one, and that agent answers the message instead of the assistant.
Files and quotes
Attach files with the paperclip, and the assistant reads them. Select text in an answer and press Ask about this to quote it in your next message.
The Canvas
Documents, code and pages the assistant makes open on a floating Canvas beside the drawer. Expand it over the page when you need more room. More on the Canvas in AI chats and Canvas.
